Many of us have watched maple tree seed pods swirl to the ground like miniature helicopters. The wing-like shape helps them fall slowly and travel far from the tree. The seed itself points downward which helps its ability to sprout as it settles on the ground.
The Sycamore Technology company applies the maple seed design to the shape of ceiling fans by copying the seed curvature. They find that this design gives increased airflow at lower speed, thus saving energy and allowing the fan to run quietly. The seed-shaped ceiling fan is aesthetically pleasing and is available with single or multiple blades, distributed worldwide.
Plants and trees were created on day three of the Biblical Creation Week as explained in Genesis 1-2. Even since, mankind has benefited from vegetation in countless ways, now including the design of practical ceiling fans.
